UML Business Analyst
Job Description
Clearly is seeking a resourceful and enthusiastic Business Analyst with experience on modelling all kinds of business processes using languages like UML (Unified Modelling Language). A huge part of your role will be to produce UML diagrams. We need someone who is experienced in interviewing business users and gathering information and producing use-case, customer journeys, state machines, and other types of UML that will paint the whole picture of the Clearly platform. Clearly is an early-stage SaaS start-up that leverages the latest advances in Data Technology (e.g. AI, IoT, DLT) with a deep understanding of growing international regulations & standards of the Transport & Finance sectors to support businesses and financial institutions in the transition of mobility to net zero emissions.
Requirements
UML Business Analyst requirements:
● Bachelor degree in IT, Business, Administration, Management or related field with
professional experience in IT/Tech systems. Master’s degree is a plus.
● In depth knowledge of modelling tools for design and implementation of business
processes.
● Very good knowledge of software development processes.
● Very good knowledge of UML but experience with other languages is good to have(e.g.
BPMN).
● Strong capacity in writing reports and project artefacts (e.g functional use cases, business
cases).
● Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
● Good knowledge and experience of Agile principles.
● Great interpersonal and communication skills. Especially customer service skills.
● Very good written and spoken English is required.
● Knowledge of TOGAF is a plus.

Responsibilities
UML Business Analyst responsibilities:
● Provide expertise for the IT strategy and the business architecture.
● Elaboration of functional and non-functional requirements and business caseanalysis.
● Perform business process analysis and business process modelling.
● Draft and review use cases and other technical documents together with IT project staff to
ensure business requirements will be adequately implemented.
● Follow-up of tasks and provide quality assurance of implementation deliverables.
● Acts as a liaison between end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts,
consultants and other organisations in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and
maintenance of IT systems to ensure optimal operational performance.
● Work together with the users to perform functional requirements and business caseanalysis.
● Negotiate with the users the functionalities to be delivered.
● Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or
non-system driver changes.
● Assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operationalchanges.
● Participate in user acceptance testing and testing of new functionalities of thesystems.
● Provide technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical
staff.
